My students learn best when they have activities and manipulatives to support their growth. The materials in this project will be used for building words, identifying spelling patterns, and sentence and paragraph writing. My students will use these centers daily during guided reading groups. The goal of this project is to help students build vocabulary, spelling, and reading skills while providing hands-on, engaging practice. Word work practice greatly increases my students' reading and comprehension abilities. With these materials my students will have multiple ways to practice and learn during our reading block.
