Almost all kids learn the best when they interact with their learning tools. A touchscreen on a tablet is perfect for kids because it keeps them engaged with the task at hand. The all new-fire HD 8 tablet is a great way for students to unwind in learning through different educational learning apps, books, projects and more. It’s a great resource to have available for students to help improve their computer and digital learning skills.
Having this resource in my classroom will make a difference in students learning through many educational apps that support their education. Specific ways the tablets will effectively be used in my classroom are through educational games such as rocket math, abcya, brainpop jr., story creator and more. Educational games are great time fillers. If students finish work early they will always have access to the tablets to help enhance their learning. Tablets will also be used as an assessment tool. Different apps can be used individually or as a whole class to help gather information quickly and easily to give teachers an idea of student understanding of the concepts that are being taught daily. Some assessment apps include kahoot, padlet, classkick, quizlet QR codes and more. Lastly, they will also be used during reading. Students will get the chance to explore different digital books by either reading or listening to stories of their choice.
There are lots of ways to use tablets in my classroom to benefit all my students!
