The materials that I requested for my students will be used in our reading centers. Students who work in a group develop excellent social skills and leadership. They are able to communicate their ideas well and negotiate them in their own unique ways.
This would allow students to work with their group and exchange ideas in a fun way. Peer teaching would reinforce the skills in negotiating ideas peacefully and the confidence to express themselves. The printer would give us colorful materials that would motivate the students to learn more and would allow more structured reading materials. This would expose the students to practice reading comprehension and be excellent reading detectives. This would also encourage reading strategies in finding evidences from the text. With the writing projects that we do each week, the students would be able to print their work and practice proof reading techniques within their group and display their output in the class.
