The materials and supplies I am requesting are for my students to have there own bowls, measuring spoons, measuring cups, spoons and a spatula. Due to Covid-19, we are not allowed to share things, but we would love to complete a recipe at least once a month. My students would benefit greatly by being able to learn life skills related to cooking. They need to learn to follow a recipe and be able to measure the ingredients on their own.
The accomplishment of making their own food and then being able to eat the food they made would give my students so much satisfaction knowing that they could accomplish something on their own.
This project would be done in the classroom and my students who are virtual would be able to come and pick up their supply bag and do the recipes with us at home.
