In my classroom, we have lots of cozy areas for reading. Whenever it is time for independent reading or if we have some free time, my students grab a pillow and find a place on the floor to read or they curl up on the couch, book in hand, ready to dive in.
I want to feed their love for reading and want to provide them with materials that they are interested in! Their love for reading will do nothing but continue to grow when they have books that they feel are personal to them and they can relate to.
