The coffee maker and carts will be used to create a student classroom business. My students will be able to use the paper, pens, and markers to create their business logo or the next best author. Students will be able to work on a variety of skills including following a recipe, sequencing steps in an activity, fulfilling an order, appropriate social skills, sharing, peer-peer work, basic number recognition, reading and comprehension, health and hygiene, and so much more. The hands on activities to supplement reading and math activities. I have also decided to use some flexible seating give students the ability to take accountability on how they would like to learn. Your donation will help students create a learning environment that is tailored to foster independence. I will be able to help students find their individual strengths. My students will have the opportunity to find innovative ways to become the business owner, mathematician, writer, scientist or whatever they can dream possible.
