At this point in education, it is time to move away from rows of desks where students can only work on their own. My goal with this project is to begin that process in my classroom. This activity table and chairs will allow students to collaborate with their peers on a daily basis. Adding to that, this set will allow myself and my consultant teacher(s) to pull small groups in order to participate in targeted instruction. Students only collaborate when they feel comfortable and safe. These chairs and activity table will facilitate growth when groups of students are working both in a collaborative setting, but also independently. I greatly appreciate any help that is given to this cause.

About my class
