Over the years I have observed that my students prefer more 3-dimensional art rather than drawing on paper. Whether it be with paint, clay, glue, or paper mache, they enjoy getting their hands dirty when creating art projects.
My students are eager to try new mediums and techniques to broaden their artistic minds. They are inquisitive about art projects that require them to think outside the box. They would love to be able to delve into "real" ceramics and not air dry or salt dough clay. Creating coiled sculptures or pinch pots would be an awesome addition to the art curriculum at our school.
We would love to have this requested SKUTT Ceramic Kiln to offer students more options in the art classroom. We strive every day to give the students the best tools to be successful in whatever they choose. This kiln will take our art program to new heights and make a positive difference in students' lives.
