We begin the 5th grade year by teaching all about flag history and etiquette. 5th graders raise and lower/fold the flag each day. It is a responsibility we take seriously. Our students recite the Pledge of Allegiance each day. We would like 6 additional flags that we can post along our front walkway on 9-11, Veteran's Day and on the day of our 5th grade Living Wax Museum, when students dress up and recite a 2 minute monologue as a prominent person from the American Revolutionary Era. Please help us continue to teach pride and love of country by giving us this added responsibility of more flags to display at our school.
