For the last quarter of school I would like to inspire, engage, and educate my 5th grade class with a fun book study of "A Tale Dark and Grimm". This story is humorous and suspenseful, so it will keep the attention of my class in the last weeks of school. Additionally students will be exposed to different author tools like simile, metaphor, tone and imaginary. Students will also define key words, and participate in engaging comprehension assignments. I believe having this class set of books will allow the students to read outside of class time and encourage the love of reading.

About my class
