In science, students use hands-on activities in order to learn about complex concepts. With the increase in advanced technology, many resources use videos and interactive online activities to further increase learning.
Students learn a great deal through hands-on experiments, however videos and interactive websites allow for a better understanding of WHY we are doing the experiment.
Therefore, my students are in need of durable headphones. There are many ways to engage young scientists using online resources. There is great value in audio and visuals to support the various needs of my students. Headphones are necessary to ensure that students have the ability to listen to videos and interact with online tools.
We are lucky enough to have access to informational texts that can be adjusted by reading level as well as read aloud. Many students, including English Language Learners and students with disabilities, can thrive when given access to these resources.
