It will give them access to books and other needed supplies within the classroom. Reading is essential, but I want to make sure they also have the things they are interested in. Many do not have money for supplies so making sure there is paper, pencils, pens, etc, will make sure that there are enough supplies so students can keep working without worrying. Also having supplies for incentives or recognition will show students that I do recognize when they perform at their best. It then makes them realize that I will award the good behavior but not the bad behavior. There are also bookshelves to put the books and other miscellaneous office supplies, i.e., a presenter remote to help make the class run more smoothly.
