Student sign-in photos, class books, sorting/matching pictures, classroom jobs, and file folder games...these are just some of the many materials that we use in the classroom on a daily basis to support our students' learning. Little hands can be rough on paper and classroom made books. In order to ensure our materials can withstand the day-to-day wear and tear, teachers laminate pictures, labels, games, and signs (just to name a few).
Laminating classroom materials allows us to maintain the quality of our materials. Our students require high levels of repetition to learn and practice new skills. Laminating allows us to do just that, create materials that are long lasting and provide multiple students the opportunity to use the same materials again and again.
