Hands-on resources will help students engage more in the class. I am trying to make my teaching fun and suitable for almost every student. There are many students who like the musical aspect of activities in the class. The little instruments will be used for students to practice speaking and reading by rhythm. If every student can have one castanet in hand while they read and speak Chinese, it will make them more engaged.
The chopsticks will be a center activity to help students learn Chinese culture. The students will develop their fine motor skills which will help them with handwriting.
Headphones will be used for students to do their Mandarin Matrix listening task.
