Reading is a subject that most students have trouble with in some way. I serve students with reading disabilities varying from dyslexia to basic reading skills and fluency. Reading can become boring and monotonous when students are forced to read about uninteresting topics or the texts are not at the appropriate reading level. I want my students to read because they want to. I want them to be so interested in a book that they just can’t put it down. I have selected several books for my classroom library and I have also picked out some titles to do book studies on. Please help me help my students become avid readers!
