My students LOVE to build, why not cater to that natural curiosity? I know that these building materials will spark a love of STEM in both my boys and girls that will last a lifetime. As well as some, always necessary, books. My students love to build and play. I would be so excited to give them use these STEM activity sets because I know it would push them to really discover how the world works. They love to build but adding the geometry component would help them in all areas of math with the block-building set. I would use these in our centers and as early-finishers. I don't believe in busy work when there is exploring to be done! The books will also help deepen their understanding of our already existing CORE curriculum for language arts.
