My students will be able to see real world images of the science and math concepts I am teaching. Science concepts include environments, soil, habitats, rocks, fossils, weather and water cycle. Math concepts include fractions, long division, geometry and real life examples of algebraic equations. Interactive, colorful, projects such as environmental pyramids, water cycle models, and fossil replicas will be created by the students. Math manipulatives and models to enhance interactive learning will be created by and for the students. These models can include flash cards, vocabulary images, and geometric nets. Text graphics, diagrams and models are clearer, easier to understand, and more engaging when printed in color.
