Being able to get these headphones will enable my students to get the most out of the new Chromebooks that we have been so fortunate to get this year.
Currently, my 4th graders are using earbuds that they have had since Kindergarten. Many of them are broken, tangled, and dirty. The three pairs of headphones that I do have are low quality and basically falling apart, but they are the only option for some students without working earbuds. Some of my students complain that earbuds are uncomfortable and even hurt their ears and many have said that they wish we had headphones. Getting these headphones would make a world of difference, as many of the reading and math programs that we use have audio enhancements that are currently being neglected.
