These STEM kits will make learning more engaging for my students. They will be elated to find that we will do more hands-on, collaborative activities. For example, one of our science units covers chemical changes. It will be wonderful to see them using those concepts to make rockets fly. Those learning opportunities are priceless. These kits will not only benefit my current students. I plan on using them as a template to build my own kits so that I can continue to implement and improve STEM activities in my classroom. We rotate classrooms for science, so I will be able to engage all the students in my grade year after year. My students will be better prepared for the future as a result of participating in these STEM activities.
