All students learn differently. Any time students can have more than one way to understand any part of required curriculum, it gives them a better chance to be successful in mastering the topic. This rug will give them a large visual of the entire world which includes all the continents and oceans. Students learn about why people populate to different parts of the world. This map will also integrate Biomes which is also a curriculum taught in 3rd grade. Students will have the opportunity to use the map in activities that require them to label each continent and ocean in the world.
