With the supplies provided by this project, I will teach my students to make their own English muffins with those famous “nooks and crannies” with the proper metal rings. Student will participate in real world kitchen experiences and build teamwork in creating the ultimate English muffin.
My students have spoken- They want to make pie! But they need your help. The individual pies dishes will allow the students to create personal sweet and savory pies in hands-on lab experiences. The various spatulas will help the students efficiently decorate with the right tools in hand. The trays will help the students safely transport ingredients to their kitchen. Lastly, the cleaning cloths are needed uphold our sanitation standards.
The materials will help me build student engagement by personalizing our foods course to teach them skills and recipes that they want to learn and use in their everyday lives. It will also help me build relationships with my students and help them learn to work cooperatively with each other. Thank you for helping me engage my students in becoming more confident cooks and bakers.
