Students will be able to learn and physically see how heat transfers through different parts of the earth. By using an infrared thermal imager, my students will be able to see different layers on heat transfer and the difference between how molecules transfer from one object to the other. This will increase their understanding of the different types of heat transfers, as well create a STEM atmosphere in my classroom where students can begin to critically think about issues we have on our planet involving heat and how to solve those problems. My students will gain different aspects of the world.
