These books will help EVERY interested student join this exciting Spring into Reading book club. Students in third through fifth grade voted to read Fuzzy Mud. One hundred students voted for the book they wanted to read for our book club. Forty-four students chose Fuzzy Mud over four other great books. All interested students and their families will be invited to read and connect with each other through this suspenseful novel. All students are able to participate regardless of family participation.
By reading Fuzzy Mud together, students and adults will develop deeper more meaningful connections with both each other and the book. We will have the opportunity to connect with each other and discuss real world issues such as bullying, environmental issues, and being true to yourself. We will connect using Google Classroom, book club meetings during lunches, and a celebration when we finish the book.
***When we finish our book club, these novels will be available for teachers to use with an entire class and small reading groups. Students will also be able to borrow the books.***
