Every great performer knows that learning lines, lyrics, and choreography are essential for a successful performance, but the technical elements such as costumes and props are what brings the show to life! Our "Soaring Eagles" at Glade View Elementary have been rehearsing and working hard with our Fine Arts team for their upcoming March 8th performance of Aladdin.
Help our students shine when they take the stage by supporting our effort to provide professional costumes and props for their performance! The costumes and props we have selected will allow our students to fully portray their characters and set the stage for an awesome experience for the audience as well.
This is our school's second year producing a full-scale Disney musical for our students and community. We were selected last school year for a three year partnership with the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and Disney Musicals in Schools. This partnership aims to create sustainable music theater programs in Title I elementary schools. Students participate in a 17 week rehearsal program that culminates with a final performance of the Disney Kids musical they have selected for the year.
This partnership is providing "A Whole New World" for our students to experience and participate in the performing arts!
