As technology continues to be integrated into daily learning in the classroom, all students are required to work on an online program called I-Ready, which is used to tailor individualized learning for each student. It is also used for growth checks and diagnostic assessments throughout the school year. For students to get the most benefit from this program, students need quality, headphones that withstand daily use, every week in the classroom.
We are a Title 1 school, therefore, many students do not have access to quality headphones for school use. Making sure students have access to quality headphones will help eliminate interruptions and keep them on task and engaged throughout their learning activities. Also, having quality headphones will help those students with disabilities, as they will be able to focus better and hear the stories and questions being read to them.
