Rhythm and steady beat are among the first things we learn in music class. It is one of the most accessible forms of music making. We continue adding new rhythm skills each year as they come to music class.
My students' faces light up when they get to put new skills to work on an actual instrument. Learning about music and getting to DO music are very different experiences.
Having drums for the students to play will expand the learning experience for all the children in the school as they come to music class and play on high quality drums.
