Preparing and presenting lessons virtually requires just a little bit more than your standard issue teacher laptop. Having a second monitor is a game changer in preparing lessons! I was able to "borrow" my sons older model TV that supports HDMI for this purpose but would like to provide a better set up for the mathematics teachers at my school who did not have this resource in the spring.
Being able to present my lesson using my laptop and still engage with my students in our virtual meetings using a second screen made all the difference in our virtual learning in the Spring. I want our students to feel connected even if we are still learning remotely. It makes a difference!
