All students in upper elementary (grades 4-6) receive instrumental music instruction. They have lessons once a week, and get to choose what instrument they play.
I have a limited number of cellos for students to use because of their high cost, and they are the most popular instrument for students to choose! Most of my students can't afford to rent instruments outside of school, so they are limited to what is available in the building.
My students have been highly influenced by famous cello groups like "The Piano Guys" and "2 CELLOS." They want to be successful and to have the opportunity to learn. Having two more cellos in our inventory would make a huge difference in the number of students that can play!
