The IPad will help my integration of technology in the classroom. I will be able to help teach my first graders about technology and how it benefits them and society. I really want my students to learn how to properly use technology and how it simply isn't there for them to be entertained and play games.
My students are always eager to explore and be creative so I want to give them the opportunity by having LEGOs available for their use during center time as well as during science time. This will foster their creativity and teamwork through collaboration and instruction.
The students love to use the computers during center time, and I want them to have every opportunity to explore technology and use it to their to further their learning. I want my students to have headphones that fit them properly and they don't have to worry about them working or falling off of their heads. They will be able to read and listen to stories on their computers with ease as well as practicing how to properly take care of technology.
The primary composition notebooks will be used for writing narratives and practicing the skills they are learning in ELA. This will give them time to practice what they have learned while giving them the opportunity to explore and be creative. This will allow them another mode to learn and practice the skills that they have learned.
