I want to be able to provide a Reading Literacy Resource Area for teachers who teach kindergarten through 2nd grade. Being a Title I school with limited resources, our teachers do not have the means to provide additional resources to help students learn how to read. Therefore, these resources would provide hands-on learning opportunities for not only the average on grade-level reader, but their struggling counterparts as well. These materials will be used for intervention/remediation purposes, while providing support during small group station time during students' ELA block each day.
Calling all readers who understand the importance of reading for success! In an effort to close the reading achievement gap, we are asking that you donate to our efforts to create a Reading Literacy Resource Area for our primary level teachers to use with their students on a daily basis. Reading is the foundation for all other content areas, and as such we want our students to be able to have a rich foundation, beginning with you and your donation! Thank you!
