These costumes and props are essential for our musical production of The Lion King. They will allow student to make a connection between our curricular studies of characters in the Africa Savanna.
These costumes and props will allow our students to learn about perseverance and self-esteem, two key skills to student success in and out of the classroom. Formally working on these skills in a musical theater environment will also serve to support students in internalizing the self-regulatory behaviors taught in our school-wide Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program.
The instruments will allow our non-verbal students the opportunity to express their inner voices through music creation and exploration.
