I will be teaching music to Kindergarteners through fifth grade. Having an electronic keyboard to play while I'm manipulating my laptop will help so much. A whiteboard will be awesome to have in order to clarify lesson objectives because if my students are able to see and access what the lesson goal is and can read it for themselves, they are more likely to focus on the concept during the lesson. The whiteboard will hold the fun picture posters of the songs and enable the use of music theory magnets to learn as we did during face to face instruction.
Most of all, having a real mouse instead of the touchpad on my laptop will help me facilitate communication and engagement altogether!
