The storage container that we are currently using takes several minutes of our instruction time to get Chromebooks passed out and also several minutes to get them put back on the charger. That is time taken at the beginning of class and at the end that could be used to strengthen students understanding of content material. More class time used for instruction is the goal and I have seen teachers use these mobile file carts to store Chromebooks in a way that allows for that. Teachers are able to role the cart around the room and distribute the computers rather than pass them out one at a time. This allows more instructional time for me and for my students.
