The materials that I am requesting for my classroom will be used to spark the students imagination as they build and create their own inventions. I currently use STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Bins to promote learning and imagination through hands on activities in these subjects. Many of the materials in the STEM bins are broken and need replaced. I do not have enough materials at this time for the students to work in small groups and get really creative and build. We use these everyday, and the students look forward to this part of the day. This is a way to let my students learn social skills through creativity, and team work in small groups.
