We're currently learning about light waves and their various properties. Our curriculum utilizes simulations to help illustrate the different characteristics of a wave. Students are able to manipulate a given wave and observe how those changes affect the type of wave that is created.
Our school lacks the adequate funding that would allow a 1:1 ratio of students to technology of any kind. As result I'm forced to print out different assessment pages from our curriculum and pass them out to my students so they can provide adequate responses. I also have to print out various expository texts about waves for students to annotate. The copy paper, pencils, and sticky notes would help my classroom continue to run as smoothly as possible.
