Many of our children arrive at school hungry, having a snack to offer them between meals is a valuable asset. It also creates a bond between us when we are having our one on ones. Snacks create an inviting office and a non-judgemental environment for my students. Students having access to food eases their anxiety and fears. We welcome the aid of any donations as we are a small school in Brownsville, Central Brooklyn. My students work hard to meet their short and long term goals. They stay longer for tutoring and extra help in their Advanced Placement classes and College level courses. These snacks will provide them with the energy and jolt they need through the day.
