My students come from a small town, who like others, are struggling with the budget crisis. They do not quite understand what this means, but they do know that this means they get less materials to work with. I try the best I can to meet their individual needs, but with 34 students, it can be a challenge to say the least. If my students had "Hot Dots," they would be able to receive instant feedback on their work. Hots Dots is an exciting new way to use flash cards to improve students' basic foundation of knowledge. It is a great program for my group of kids who need a little extra reinforcement. With this integration of technology (which kids LOVE), the students will be able to learn while having fun doing it! It is my goal to have each and every one of my 34 students be 100% proficient in all of their basic facts by the time they move onto 6th grade. With the addition of "Hot Dots" into my classroom, I fully believe that this goal is achievable.
