My kiddos are young, 4 years old turning 5 during the school year. They are active and move about, lots of wiggles to get out.
Many of my kids are in school for the first time and have a hard time sitting on the carpet and in their chairs.
The wobble stools are designed for active movement so that the kids can wiggle and wobble and not lose focus on the teacher during lessons.
The carpet seats offer a space for my kids that are still working on sitting during carpet time. The seats allow them some support while building their core strength which allows them to sit upright during story time.
