These supplies will help the two fifth graders in promoting their project to the whole school. The art supplies we need donated are: Blick Economy poster board, Crayola Washable paint, Hampton Art canvases, Richeson Slightly Imperfect Assorted Brush Sets, construction paper, Elmer's glue, adhesive dots for mounting pictures, etc. Theses items will be used by all the students (300+) at their school as they create the posters, cards, and messages of love, peace, gratitude, and empathy for returning soldiers or veterans of any military service. These posters, gifts, cards, and small tokens of appreciation will be used to decorate the halls of the Wichita Vet Center and will hopefully let these veterans know and never forget that they are always "welcomed home". The Project Leaders, teachers, staff, and students of the school will gain the knowledge of how important it is to spread kindness, love, and gratitude for those who give their lives in service to protect citizens.
