The books selected will provide the students with a new set of perspectives and opportunities to read as many authors as possible. With their access to the new libraries, students will broaden their horizons with classical and contemporary fiction, realistic fiction, non-fiction, and fantasy novels. Furthermore, the multiple books will allow for smaller group literary circle settings where students can collaborate, debate, and discuss topics common to the works selected. Finally, unlike an online subscription, the books can be used for years to come for further study among students. They will provide an engaging library-like atmosphere for middle school students on our campus.
