Teaching in a Title I school where technology is old and outdated, or not always available, is challenging. In today’s world, technology is a necessity. Thankfully, we have enough laptops for everyone to use for educational games, reading, researching, writing assignments and more.
Have you ever used your computer without a mouse and find that it takes much longer, and is more frustrating, to get anything done? That is why I am wanting mice in my classroom! These kids make more mistakes and get frustrated when they accidently hit the wrong key and end up on some other page.
Unfortunately, kids usually love using the computer, but not without a mouse. We do not have enough for all the laptops and many are old and worn out. Some of them do not work all the time when they right or left click them from years of use.
It is time to say goodbye to the old mice and get new ones. Computer time will be much more enjoyable. Thank you for anything you can donate to help our cause.
