With these supplies, my students will be able to build or create a provided idea that is on a task card or something brand new that fits into that category. For example, the cards may have different types of structures like buildings or bridges, or they may have something associated with a holiday or season.
My students will be designing structures or objects that may not even exist, but through their imagination, creativity and critical thinking, it may spark a long term interest, and their idea may become reality.
My students will be able to explore with these materials in both a whole group and partner group settings. These materials will be used daily during station time. This will enhance my students’ critical thinking process in all area of academics and it will encourage them to work collaboratively.
