The color printer will be used to support the students' social emotional growth, vocabulary development and much more! We will print out student pictures for labels, pictures of their families (to help support the students' transition from home to school and celebrate our diverse cultures), pictures to go along with new vocabulary words, and books the children will make. Our school is focused on early literacy. We have ten units of study that are rich in new vocabulary, books, and poems. The children in our pre-k are beginning to learn how to read by looking at pictures to match with words. A color printer will support and enhance our learning!
