A "camp-in" at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will provide an overnight opportunity to connect classroom curriculum to real-world, hands-on experiences. Students will visit the planetarium and will participate in activities such as heart or lung dissections, building space probes, launching rockets, as well as creating engineering projects and watching an IMAX screening. They will also explore the museum exhibits that include habitats and wildlife, gems and minerals, cultures around the world, prehistoric exhibits, and much more. The adventure will then continue the following day at the Denver Zoo. Your donation does not just provide a one-time learning experience, but will positively impact our students' love for science for years to come. Our school is a Title I school where over 50% of our students come from low income families. As a result, the cost for this field trip would be a financial hardship for many of them. Therefore, by donating, all of our students would be able to participate and greatly benefit from this educational field trip. We are so excited to offer our students this opportunity.
