My kindergarten students attend a title 1 school in Berkeley, CA. They are from a diverse range of backgrounds and are 5 to 6 years in age. They love animals and learning about their habitats. I just recently bought a leopard gecko for the classroom, which they have learned all about and help to take care of as one of their classroom jobs.
