With all of these materials, we will be able to create a sensory station within our classroom. This will be an area that the children can choose to go to during free choice time and could be used with a small group for teaching purposes.
The children will be more engaged to learn words and concepts such as: putting the sand in and out of the bucket, driving the cars under and over the bridge, digging a hole, taking turns, asking for help, exploring objects on their own, and counting the number of objects that are the same or identifying what is different in the bin.
