Creative centers and diverse activities allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During center time they choose a center that works best for them and that piques their interest. Currently my students are choosing to work in a center that is fun and engaging. Making sure the centers are engaging and hands on is an essential component in motivating them to learn through centers that intrigue them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when there are new centers with new activities. They almost always make good choices about how they interact with the center, are more engaged, and get more work completed when the centers are engaging and hands on than when they are just simple centers.
My students are noticeably more engaged in their center work and less disruptive of their peers when they are working in centers that fun and engaging.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional center options to make more effective learning choices. From more varied Spanish books, to manipulatives, to organizing centers, I know that the products I have selected will help support our students in their individual learning.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
