Many of my students do not have access to reliable technology at home. The 5 computers I have in class are used daily but not efficiently. They take a long time to log into for each child, lose battery power quickly and are generally inefficient. I'm looking for a quicker, easier technology to use in my classroom for reading programs and math games that can be tailored to my student's varied learning levels. With 9 Kindle Fire tablets, I can have half of my class reading or doing math games while I meet individually with the others to more efficiently meet their individual learning needs.
