Support Mrs. Hubbard's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
To help my students learn amid the pandemic, they need additional resources than the traditional teaching methods. Students who come to my classroom have learning difficulties. My students would benefit greatly from books on CD for a listening center, games, puzzles and other hand-on activities to assist in reading and math skill retention. Students will have access to these books on CD not only to help stay engaged but to help improve listening skills, develop sight vocabulary and critical comprehension skills. Providing these books through a listening center helps students follow along as the narrator reads. Hearing a book being read aloud helps the students focus on the sounds of words being read without interruption and provides a model for fluent reading.
These materials will be used in small group interventions and centers to help students achieve the skills in a fun and exciting way. Not all students learn the same way. Students need a variety of activities to help retain skills and be generalized across settings.
