When I taught upper grades, we had Storyworks Jr. and the students loved this magazine! The stories in this magazine are on their level and have a great variety of non-fiction and fiction stories. The stories not only teach them about reading, but they also teach them good social skills and provide stories about kids their age! Storyworks Jr. gets their hands on a magazine that introduces them to unique and engaging stories. The stories in Storyworks Jr. sparks students imagination and helps them to have more exposure to a variety of texts. Storyworks Jr. has poems, non fiction passages, fiction passages, etc. It is a wonderful resource that my student would love to have!
